“Just a small semantic point but if the media wants to lead the push for action on climate change they could start by expunging the phrase “they/he/she/we ‘believe’ in climate change” and replacing it with “T/H/S/W believe in ACTION ON climate change.”? It’s a small change but factual. No one needs to “believe” in climate change. It is a fact. Those claiming to not “believe” are muddying the waters and denigrating scientific evidence by creating doubt in the public mind. No responsible media outlet should acquiesce to this campaign to undermine science using the same tactics as the tobacco industry.”
