Great production value and advice.
I've been listening to this show for a while now and it's been my favorite podcast for some time. I've especially enjoyed the insightful looks into Lex's thought process as he designed his homebrew word of Primordia. My only issue is that at the times I find myself disagreeing with Lex are the times he seems extremely dismissive of thought processes outside of his own and they're points that he feels passionately enough to take up several minutes of the show with. He regularly opines that domains don't work the way he thinks they should and his broader points--which are often very good--get lost in the minutia of his disdainful arguments. However, if there's any topic you're struggling with as a DM, there's likely an episode that can help you out. Even if all the advice doesn't suit your style of play, it'll often help on your way to becoming a much more well-rounded DM.Read full review »

I'm a new GM and I found this podcast while looking for advice on running a game. I don't play D&D but I found the information provided here was still applicable to other games, as well. Thanks for the help!Read full review »
