A lot to think about. I wish it weren’t so shocking, but this is the way the world turns. Maybe one important take away lesson is that none of us are immune. I'm not sure the motives of Falwell Jr, but La Pierre probably started out sincere, and the parents of the college scandel are just like many parents with lesser means who want to give their kids a good life and don't want to see them fail. It seems like most of these people fell because they desired too much the blessings of this world, be that the status of education and the beautiful family, the lure of a comfortable life style and power, or just raw political fame and power. Yeah it can be a little slow, but with me having two kids in high school, it’s crazy to hear the story. And it’s also easy to say this is just one of the probably many rackets for college admission. It’s good to see it getting news recognition. Not just about the celebrities. It’s way deeper

It proves that some wealthy people are incredibly dumb and/or self absorbed in their entitlement issues. I agree with Jenks when he says it makes his blood boil - but love that he’s the one investigating and narrating this podcast.
