Listen now
Description
In this short today, Sauvignon blanc is one of the world's most popular white wine grapes, prized for its unique citrus, fruity aroma, and refreshingly high acidity.  Sauvignon blanc refers both to the grapes and the wines made from them. The grape is native to France but is now grown in wine-producing regions worldwide, such as Canada, New Zealand, Chile, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, and the USA.   Sauvignon blanc pairs well with:  Grilled or BBQ Chicken, Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Chimichurri, Ceviche, Grilled Shrimp, seared scallops, steamed mussels, fresh oysters, grilled salmon, fried calamari, and sashimi.  Salads with Radicchio, arugula, Olives, Peach Caprese Salad, or Cherry Tomato Salad with Roasted Lemons, fried or roasted zucchini, asparagus risotto, Pasta with Pesto sauce, Arugula Pesto, Roasted Broccoli with Garlic & Basil Tahini Sauce, roasted Brussel Sprouts.  Cheeses like Goat cheese, burrata, mozzarella di bufala, feta, parmesan, and ricotta.
