Accepting Change and Letting Go....  Humans are funny creatures, in that we often know that change is NEEDED in our life...  yet we are too scared to actually make the change.  In some cases, we are not even conscious that we're too afraid, we just come up with a ton of excuses why it's not possible.  Have you ever stayed in a painful romantic relationship longer than you should have, because you were afraid of what life MIGHT look like when you left? Have you ever stayed at a job that was...

How many times have you heard, "THE PAST IS THE PAST"? Here's the thing... the past IS the past. And that has two different meanings. a) The past is the past, we can't do anything about it, so let's keep moving on b) The past is the past, and the person you are today and the life you live is based on everything that has happened, everything you've experienced in the past which means the past is in part creating your present which creates your future :) So what does this mean? Every...

Sometimes Life Sucks. Right? Life can be hard.  Something happens to you or in the world around you, and you can’t help but think, ‘Man, this sucks!’ or ‘Why is life so difficult all the time?’ Perhaps something crappy has happened to you in your life recently - you are going through a difficult breakup or in a bad relationship, you’ve been diagnosed with a chronic or even fatal disease, you’ve lost your job, or you’re struggling to make ends meet as inflation continues to rise.  Life...

August 13, 2022 is a day I’ll always remember.  -- Around 3:30am, I called 911 and ordered an ambulance to my house. A couple hours later I was riding a thin line between life and death. I spent many hours in the emergency room followed by days in the ICU before being released from the hospital with a diagnosis that meant my life would quite literally never be the same.  - Now, three weeks later I reflect on everything that happened and the lessons I’ve learned that will not only help ME live...

So, today my car got broken into. And by broken into I mean someone cute the soft top of my convertible.  Within a few minutes I felt a rainbow of emotions from anger to compassion. And then I chose which emotion I was going to bring with me into the rest of the day. And I chose compassion and gratitude.  Some people told me I should be angry. Some other people I spoke to were angrier about it than I was.  I wasn’t happy that it happened… I love that car. But I also chose to accept it as if...

This is one of the best conversations I've had all year.  Sonika worked in her family's textile company when Covid hit in 2020 and her business came to a stand still just like many other businesses all over the world.
