“Update 3/2022: Maisel Goys is still awful, not because of Kevin, who’s still an utter sweetheart, but because Alice still can’t stop making it all about herself, her show and her obvious complete dislike of the show. Maybe it’s schtick? Nah, she’s awful. Tried again to listen, had to stop. Again.
Update 2/2020: first thing first...Gilmore Girls fans, absolutely DO listen to the Gilmore Girls episodes with Kevin and Demi-they are super fun!!! See below.* BUT the Maisel episodes wow wow wow wow wow Has Alice doubled down and trying even harder to come across as completely obnoxious and unappealing??!! Kevin, you’re still the sweetest, but man she brings the podcast down. Once more making it all about herself, so so not funny and extremely negative. Accept that you ARE NOT part of the Maisel show and stop always talking about how you would have done the role. No one cares. I’m not sure why you’re doing the podcast, you don’t ever seem to care about the show. Thank goodness for Kevin and some of the guests. I originally rated the show 5 happy stars, but the non-Demi/Alice seasons are a super hard listen. I was such a fan. What a shame. *Original review: If you're even remotely a Gilmore Girls fan, this is a must-listen. Demi and Kevin are 2 of the sweetest guys out there and their show is a blast to listen to. The first few episodes may be rough diamonds, a couple of guests almost made me quit listening, but I'm glad I stuck with the Guys, because they're hilarious and incredibly insightful for such youngsters (I'm sort of an old lady, not as old as Emily or Miss Patty!). And in later GG seasons, they have truly amazing guests that are funny and smart (coughjasonmantzoukasaishamuharraretccough) Fun and way WAY cuter than Pushkin. Listen. Listen now.”Read full review »
