A late comment but: A big thank you to everyone, I’ve enjoyed every episode. A cultural diverse group of friends. Entertaining episodes with inspiring and well investigated topics. Lovely guests. It made me laugh and it made me think. I wish there were more podcasts like this one! xx

Super relatable topics and really warm and funny comedians on the show. I especially love Steve Ali’s perspective as a Syrian refugee, as we don’t hear enough from the perspectives of refugees in mainstream media.

Even just hearing the theme tune of this truly brightens my day!

Being in total lockdown has been necessary for the Covid fight but has also almost driven me to a point of stir crazy from which there is no return and it’s just plain crazy.. grown up land has been my only saving grace! Funny, witty and always put into perspective this podcast is a 10/10...Read full review »

Literally one of my favourite Podcasts so you can imagine how excited I am that you are all back next week. Can’t wait to hear your take on the world around us again Steve Ali 😍

I think the discussions are great and becoming even more critical. I love that there is something that pulls together the British experience (range of speakers), follows the relationships and, as a result, offers a stimulus for constructive cultural development.

The show subjects allow for fabulous discussion but the presenters say’ like’a lot. It doesn’t belong over and over in a sentence. I counted 8 in one short sentence. Makes listening painful.

I really like this podcast and I do like the way they talk about topics and have a lot of different points of view. BUT I do take a big issue with the way the podcasts always end with Steve Alli giving his perspective. For one he is very funny and interesting so should be included throughout the...Read full review »

A lot of fun, I always listen when I’m doing chores and want to take my mind of the laborious tasks. I do miss the chemistry of Bisha, Mae and Ned though, the new trio are still entertaining but I don’t find myself laughing as much as I used to.

So funny and interesting and includes so many different people and their experiences which is so important and makes it so much funnier and relatable. And anything Deborah Francis White is part of is amazing❤️

Lovely, funny and down to earth presenters, look forward to listening every week!

Fun, light-hearted podcast. As a British expat, I find the humour comforting. Just needs a different theme song...the current one is absolutely awful. It’s played not just at the beginning and end, which would be tolerable, but intermittently throughout. Not a Kemah Bob fan but love the other...Read full review »

I am really enjoying the series so far. It looks at real issues and questions with the use of clips from past shows. Nice introduction to some of the shows on radio 4.

Amazing podcast guys! I listened all episodes twice :) All the best from Istanbul Tolgahan Cogulu

I love this podcast, the topics, the conversation and the diversity. My only criticism is that sometimes the choice of guest cohost adds an extra layer of privilege, more BAME cohosts please.

As an Aussie living in Japan, this podcast makes me feel less lonely. All the guests are just so honest and kind, and Steve’s Perspective seg is just so important. Thank you for creating and sharing!

I'm nearly 30, so I understand most of what these young whippersnappers are talking about. They're funny, and what they talk about it considered and relevant. It's a pretty "woke" podcast though, sometimes too much so. But what do I know, I'm nearly 30?Read full review »

I’m months away from 40 and adulting has not become any easier in my case, except through humour, which these guys provide in abundance.

I really enjoy this podcast but it has quite a London centric view on millennialism (much like most other media).

Good podcast, very comical. I would say at times it’s a bit too left wing and could benefit from a better balance.

Ugh
Review based on listening to the entirety of Ep5 This is in the same vain of various NPR podcasts wherein young people moan and whine, attempting to ask “tough questions” while delivering essentially google “I’m feeling lucky” read the abstract answers. I would go as far to say that the episode...Read full review »

Really relevant and well constructed. An interesting deconstruction on what it is to be an adult (grownup).

Definitely didn’t just binge-listen to all 22 episodes over 2 days. Mae, Ned + Bisha are a bloody awesome combo, the guests are brilliant + there can never be enough Steve Ali in my ears. Plus I now have SO many cool facts for the dinner parties I’ll never be invited to. More genius from the...Read full review »

I nearly had to turn off after hearing cream first preferences on a scone! As a proud Cornish woman, I nearly choked on my cuppa. It’s ok, I’m very liberal and I’ll let you off. It has made me laugh out loud. It is like listening to a regular conversation with friends (my type of creatures), losts of laughs and facepalms. Great conversations about different aspects of adulthood by interesting people. I love the different perspectives, I love the connections to other radio stories and I like the personal experiences shared.

Ned
Ned is everything that is wrong with “modern male guilt”.. his constant apologies and deliberate attempts to appease everyone is uncomfortable and off putting to listen to.

I don’t know why I don’t love this podcast, all the elements are there, but I’m just not sure about the chemistry between the participants - it feels a bit forced and manufactured

I’m so in love with these three! The way they talk about the subjects they have every week is refreshing and, although I find myself agreeing all the time, it also surprises me and teaches me something new. Besides that, I find myself laughing out loud wherever I am listening, which freaks people...Read full review »

I Kirsten to this podcast on my way to work and it never fails to make me smile and gain some perspective on my life. Adulting is hard, but you all make it much more palatable!
