Just wanted to say a massive thank you! As an Australian male social worker student this is a great, engaging resource for myself. This pod past is inspiring, as I would love to eventually replicate an Australian version one day. I really enjoy the topics which approach taboo, yet essential...Read full review »

I discovered your show last year and have come to really enjoy it. The recent episode on social work and gun violence had thoughtful perspective. I love how you guys are less idealistic and more realistic, sticking to the evidence base as a guide for what’s effective and what’s not. I also simply...Read full review »

Can you PLEASE do an episode on juvenile offenders??? I’m a child welfare worker and we have so many kids (10-18) in SOMB for things like fondling siblings or “consensual” acts. I’m confused by how these cases are treated by the criminal justice system (in CO we arrest/convict at 10) and what...Read full review »

I had even started questioning if the field was right for me... thanks for putting a name to what I had so been feeing... “Guerrilla” social worker. Nailed it. Thanks for the...Read full review »

Highly recommend this podcast to those truly interested in helping vulnerable populations & doing so with humanity & humor. I really enjoy the dynamics within the guerrilla crew. However, I do have a complaint... y’all take to long to release new episodes. I enjoy “binge listening” to...Read full review »

I work at a state hospital as a psychiatric social worker and can relate to the intersection of the legal/treatment requirements. It’s awesome to hear real talk and not overly politically correct language that most podcasts have. This is hard work and there needs to be levity! Good work guys!

As a woman social worker surrounded by other women social workers, I love whenever I get a male social worker perspective. I especially love that these guys work with such a challenging population. Really great topics and really great conversation. Keep it up, guys!

I thought about being a sexual predator and then I listened to this podcast. So glad I did because then I was like, “nah”.

I really enjoyed the most recent podcast about your experience implementing the CBI-SO curriculum 😁 kudos for talking so openly and candidly about social work and the SO population.

You guys remind me a lot of Jocko Willink except more applicable to my field of study. Giving a 4 only because I haven’t listened to the bulk of the podcast. Good stuff!

I really wanted to like this podcast, and have a lot of respect for their goal of changing the way we think about sexual offenders, and how we treat and rehabilitate (or fail to) them in our society. Even though I am very liberal, I appreciated their critique of the field being closed off to...Read full review »
