“It just seems that in her opinion everything from the olden days were golden, mostly because all of her limited tasting experiences were of wines someone had thought worthy of aging and did so properly. She knows little of the various grape growing and wine making Nuances of the 40's or 50's. Fast forward to the late 80's until the present, when she actually can talk to hands on people and has some first hand tasting experiences all the sudden she can speak with authority about irrigation and rootstocks and other important criteria. Almost all of mention of people are the shining stars. Generally speaking it does not take 1200 pages to get to the point of any subject and despite some very interesting points does not exactly hit the nail on the head at least on this podcast. Think I heard her with Levi Dalton on his podcast with a little more clarity.”
