Great motivating podcast!
I'm new to guitar theory. I've spent the last couple of years just playing aroung on the guitar, trying to learn on my own. This podcast motivated me to learn scales (especially the pentatonic) and chords and my guitar playing has DRASTICALLY improved. His website and youtube videos are very imformative as well. Great podcast that is free! I hope there are more to come. I plan to buy his book and DVD.Read full review »

More reviews of Guitar Music Theory
I'm an intermediate to advance guitarists and I find that Desi's podcasts are really good and very informative! The examples using songs are great. The introduction to modes helped me to better understand how to apply them in songs. Keep up the good work and ROCK ON!!Read full review »

Spread the word about these podcasts. Very helpful to those of whose fingers are bleeding. A totally sensible way to play. Good production and presentation. I have the book and DVD as well. Well worth the money ... and more. The only thing better would be to sit across from Desi for lessons.

If you are interested in understanding how the guitar really works then you are in the right place. I highly recommend his course and the DVD's. You won't find a better theory course...Read full review »
