Must Listen!
I happened on this podcast and was overwhelmingly impressed. I am a beginner to intermediate, and each and every episode had extensive content where the lightbulb appears and a "that is cool" follows: the invaluable moments where a concept "clicks". Not only is the content good, but the way Desi Serna explains everything makes it easily understood with examples, how to practice the concept, and how the concept fits in with popular music. One can only hope that he comes out with more podcasts ... even when I don't have a guitar, I found myself listening to the podcasts over in my car.Read full review »

More reviews of Guitar Music Theory
Desi breaks it down into the basics of theory and shows you how to build it back up. He uses a few examples from radio hits to demonstrate how the theory has been applied before and he goes along at the right speed so your not lost OR bored.
