Must Listen!
I happened on this podcast and was overwhelmingly impressed. I am a beginner to intermediate, and each and every episode had extensive content where the lightbulb appears and a "that is cool" follows: the invaluable moments where a concept "clicks". Not only is the content good, but the way Desi Serna explains everything makes it easily understood with examples, how to practice the concept, and how the concept fits in with popular music. One can only hope that he comes out with more podcasts ... even when I don't have a guitar, I found myself listening to the podcasts over in my car.Read full review »

I've been playing many years (self taught), but Desi has answered some of my lingering questions and added some interesting insights. Finally, some straight talk on modes. Thanks Desi and keep them coming :-)Read full review »

Extremely helpful! Anyone who can teach acoustic guitar using audio 9and no visuals) must be very, very good at what they do. I've used Desi's book "Fretboard Theory" as well as these podcasts, and as a package they're....well... a total package! Highly Recommended!!!
