“I consider myself to be an advanced beginner, when it comes to playing guitar. Desi states, in these podcasts, that the content is suitable for intermediate and advanced guitar players. However, I've been starved for the information in Desi's podcasts. Even as a beginner, these podcasts contain the information I've been needing to make me WANT to take my studies to the next level. Desi presents the information in an easy-to-understand format; not talking over my head, but providing enough information to fuel the leading edge of my abilities. I recommend this podcast to anyone, beginner or advanced, who wants to learn more about music theory and how to correctly apply it to the guitar fretboard. Quit wasting your money on theory books that are designed for instruments other than the guitar. Listen to these podcasts. Glean everything you can. I recommend purchasing Desi's book, Fretboard Theory. It's directly referenced in these podcasts and I've found it to be an invaluable resource.”Read full review »
