Great Resource For Intermediate Guitar Players
My guitar playing had gotten stale and boring and I was not feeling any significant improvement recently. I went onto itunes looking for podcasts that would help me move to the next level and discovered Guitar Music Theory. This started to put into perspective the approaches up the guitar neck that create tremendous opportunities to change the sounds of the scales and notes I am playing, making it much easier for song riffs I am playing to mimic the voicing of the songs as played by the artists. Only suggestion here would be for Desi to add additional content on a regular basis, such as some of the videos that he has on his web site. Note that these podcasts alone would not have been sufficient for me to make this improvement, but it helped wet my appetite for Desi's methods and I bought his book and DVDs.Read full review »

I'm an intermediate to advance guitarists and I find that Desi's podcasts are really good and very informative! The examples using songs are great. The introduction to modes helped me to better understand how to apply them in songs. Keep up the good work and ROCK ON!!Read full review »
