Fun and informative stuff from a pro guitar teacher
Not some famous guitar player trying to cash in or some kid shredding away on the new amp he just got from Guitar Center. Mr Serna is a solid, professional guitar teacher with an entertaining and informative style, who clearly puts a lot of time and effort into his work. I really enjoy the podcasts which are informative in their own right. I also bought his book and DVD's on the strength of the Podcasts and am really pleased with the results. He explains complex musical theories in an intelligent yet easy to understand way that you can put into practice immediately. For example, I have had the theory of modes in music explained to me so many times I lost count and never understood it at all, but after an hour of Desi Serna lessons on modes, I got it and was using it in my playing right away. Great stuff, highly recommended.Read full review »
