Well Behaved Girls (and Boys) rarely make history!
The Harlots podcast by Grim and Mild provides a riveting journey through the shadowy corridors of history, where the tales of those often whispered about but rarely acknowledged take center stage. Each episode, crafted with a storyteller's care for nuance and a historian’s eye for detail, dives deep into the lives of women(and men) who have, across the ages, navigated the complex interplay of power, survival, and society's mores. What sets Harlots apart is its meticulous attention to atmosphere—it's as if one is walking through a fog-laced street of the past, guided by the light of voices that resonate with raw, unfiltered truth. The podcast does not just recount events; it resurrects forgotten lives, giving dignity back to those whom history had relegated to the margins. It’s this redemptive quality that would have listeners, familiar with the shadows in Stephen King's own tales, find a compelling echo in the podcast’s exploration of human nature. The narration is a masterclass in tone, balancing the macabre with the poignant, weaving a tapestry that feels both hauntingly familiar and refreshingly insightful. For anyone who revels in the darker corners of the human experience, yet seeks the light of understanding and empathy, Harlots by Grim and Mild is a profound, engaging, and utterly essential listen.Read full review »

I went in to this wanting to not like it. But a few episodes in and I’m hooked. Generally I feel Manhke and the whole grim and mild thing is a little over saturated but I’m all for this. Good job.
