This is an important topic and you both very accurately and thoroughly describe how Black girls are parentified in families and adultified in society. However, I wish you had started with how the problem is grounded in how Black girls/women have been racialized and stereotyped since the period of enslavement and how current institutional and structural racism and inequities perpetuate this problem.
