“I really enjoy Alec Baldwin and the Podcast format of interviews with interesting people. But the execution is way off for my taste. For the most part the interviews feature boring questions that pretty much boil down to "tell me why you are so great?". Then the celebrity proceeds to explain why he/she is wonderful and Alec chimes in occasionally to heap praise and dump a little love on himself here and there. The whole thing feels very superficial and not very compelling to listen to. I don't feel like I learned anything about the people or about anything really since its so fluff filled.
The exception being the interview with Ed Rollins. I would like to see the show go more in the direction where they do some actual discussion instead of ego rubbing. Anyways, I'm fairly disappointed so far and I feel about as nourished as one might after an "E" channel binge. Hope this gets better.”Read full review »
