“I initially started listening to this show in order to revise for my upcoming History AS level exam (specifically the unification of Germany episodes). I came into the show a bit dubious, as I had listened to a number of podcasts to consolidate my knowledge, but the majority of these had had minimal information, or alternatively gone off on unrelated tangents. However, when I started listening, I found that the show really told a compelling narrative, outlining the key events superbly. Unlike many other similar shows, I found myself actually enjoying listening to the narrative and learning a lot. I have begun to listen to a few of the other episodes, and fully intend to attempt to keep up with the show as it is made.”
