Bite-size, approachable, diverse
Can't put my finger on exactly why I enjoy this podcast so much... I've listened to a lot of audiobooks and Great Courses series (which are tens of hours), so maybe it's the shorter format, two one hour segments, ish, that are easier to fit in. Maybe it's the conversational nature, where the guest often asks questions that I would ask. Or maybe it's the diversity of topics. Anyway, give it a try.Read full review »

This podcast is perfect for history fans. Not necessarily for experts since this is just an overview of the topics but its still amazing. Highly recommended!

This Podcast is worth a listen. Many history Podcasts tend to just scratch the surface. This one takes a more comprehensive narrative approach that is worth a listen if you have the time. I can really tell the host takes great care in preparing for the discussions. Keep up the good work!
