“I chanced upon this podcast while doing research for my senior thesis on the Iran-Contra Affair, and have been listening to it ever since!
As a student of history at FSU, I'd been looking for a fun and casual way to revisit topics I'd previously studied and HI101 fit that role perfectly.
And now that I am graduated, I love throwing on one of their episodes and going about my work as a brewer.
The subject matter keeps me thinking throughout the day, and the host moderates each topic perfectly.
This isn't one of those intimidating (prior knowledge required) history podcasts! It's a fun way to freshen up on your studies, and a great way to hear about areas of history you may never have known existed.

“Stumbled across this podcast monts ago and have now listening through every episode. Has a nice balance of depth without getting dragged down by too many details. HI101 and Hardcore History definitley sit as my favorite two history podcasts. Keep it up fella.”
