To bad, important work could have been done.
Started off well and o was hopeful for this podcast. Hillsong and the issues it is facing need to be brought into large light and exposed. But by episode 4, it was clear to see that the agenda of this podcast was not going to do so… The producer chose a transgender person who is blaming the Church for her hiding her sexuality for years. And now they are going to a progressive Church that isn’t following the teachings of the Bible. So we are ok with false teaching at a Church? Or a guy who failed out of Rehab and OBVIOUSLY wants nothing to do with Jesus talking about Hillsong. It’s baffling the chooses made on this podcast. You blew it. We can learn so much from the rise and fall of Hillsong. But they chose to do a Hit piece and don’t interview ONE PERSON who is thriving in Hillsong to share there experience. Just so sad

When I read the negative reviews I wonder how many are from those who are themselves blind Mega-church zealots…this is an important story of predatory individuals and organizations.

The story we needed to hear about this corrupt and dangerous organisation. Incredible storytelling, highly recommend.

Barely made it throughThe first episode. Low key, meandering and very little that grabs the listeners interest. Too bad. I had high expectations. I don't plan to listen any further.Read full review »
