I appreciate Kent, but the podcast on Israel sounded like two white people defending the unfortunate necessity of Jim Crow laws. Part 2 was even worse. “Moral minefields?!” C’mon. I’m looking forward to Part 3, “Are your children being recruited by Hamas on TikTok?”

Really enjoying the 2 part exploration of myth and “ the father wound.” Kent explores the now cliched and is idea of “ patriarchy” through a deeper, more nuanced, and respectful lens. Hoping for my re episodes!

Kent is such an inspiring teacher and guide, shining a light on details in the pieces of the puzzle I try to put together in this life. It is so refreshing to hear rich conversations and ideas on topics that deserve so much more attention than the shallow one sentence memes on social media. ...Read full review »

I appreciate Kent’s honestly; clearly deeply thought through material yet he delivers unpolished and honest. He’s brave to discuss different angles on various “sacred cows”. Totally recommend!

Kent has been a spiritual teacher of mine since I started listening to his podcasts from Mars Hill. The teachings he has presented have made me grow more spiritually than any other teacher. His teachings have helped me start to heal several “hang ups” I have from growing up in a very...Read full review »

I grew up in an Bible believing home where no one questioned anything. You trusted your pastor and his message. You left church and lived your life. Also going to church twice on a Sunday, being seen in attendance by all the people you knew was the big thing. How empty. Now a parent myself and...Read full review »

Kent makes me think. I found this podcast after reading his book “Bitten By a Camel”. His podcasts are thought-provoking, often causing me to have to consider ideas in new ways. I appreciate his openness and honesty. Definitely worth your pondering.

His episodes on the Enneagram demonstrates a lack of understanding of the Enneagram and is an adolescent approach to a valuable tool. It seems to be more click bate to drive traffic to his podcast and social media rather than seeking understanding. He would benefit from a conversation with an...Read full review »

Kent's teaching is just what my mind and spirit needs right now. His psychospiritual lens, combined with his expansive knowledge of the Bible, makes for compelling listening and fodder for deeper reflection. One of his (many) gifts is being able to put the Bible in context/perspective and...Read full review »

My first exposure to Kent was when he was on Rob Bell’s podcast, the Robcast. They shared a short exchange about their historical connection via their former church Mars Hill and then proceeded to have a mind-blowing and deep conversation about matters of the heart and soul. Kent described his...Read full review »

Opening up to different ideas of what is exactly god, the Bible, and our beliefs is what I need right now in time of my life. It’s hard to read the Bible as an adult and no question what I believed when I was ten! I have a whole new appreciation for Jesus and the Bible, in that it is more a book...Read full review »

I do not know what I would do without Kent Dobson’s podcast. This is the only podcast I can listen to at this point in my journey. I am blown away with each new episode as they resonate with me so deeply, right where I am at. I really depend on Kent’s teachings and his insight. The hero’s...Read full review »

Kent invites the wanderer, the one who's worldview has collapsed or is collapsing through ancient wisdom and knowledge to be at home in the question. He does so by wrestling with life through the tales of our Judaeo-Christian history. A history that has shaped many off us westerner way off...Read full review »
