Promising Subject, Questionable Execution
I am very excited about this podcast and think it has some serious potential. I have listened to the first two full episodes, and while I find the narrator strong and the subject matter and angle interesting, some of the voice acting is subpar and detracts from the effect of the podcast. The sound effects/ voiceover used during the explanation of Georgette's (extremely brutal) murder was distasteful. They have just began, so I have high hopes and expect it to improve.Read full review »

I love how it diverges from typical mystery/crime podcasts by incorporating voice acting like a radio drama. It adds a nice touch of color. I love Tracy Pattin as the smoky-voiced narrator. Overall great production.

If you love old Hollywood mysteries and crime like I do, this is an awesome listen. Great sound design, good writing, strong subject choices... just a great podcast all around.
