Daughter of an Immigrant
My mother crossed the border at Laredo hours before I was born. I grew up in an Latino community, made up of mostly immigrant families. I always had a fear that my mom could be sent back to El Salvador, but I never understood the history and politics behind the laws and policies that were created to "control" immigration. Thank you for such a thorough, well written, 360 degree view of immigration policies in the US. Incredibly well made podcast.Read full review »
