Listen, Learn, Act
I learned about RAICES when a friend asked for donations to support RAICES in lieu of birthday gifts a couple years ago. I was appalled to see that a group of people has to fight so hard to protect the basic human rights of immigrants in our country. This podcast traces the history of how we ended up here as a country, exposes the organizations responsible for maintaining this awful system, and reveals the reasons immigrants, both documented and undocumented, live in fear of deportation. Don’t listen expecting this to be some high-production drama to entertain you for a couple of hours before you forget. Listen to learn about the injustices that are tainting America’s reputation and deepen your understanding of what’s being done to help, then use your knowledge to act.
