They love people, and it's contagious
I gave this podcast a try because I had read Dave's book, Party of One, and loved it. I've now been listening daily and am so into it. I don't recognize the names of many of the guests they talk to, but I've learned not to care--I just click on an episode and wait to fall in love with the person, which I always do! Mostly because Dave and Matt love the person, and it comes across. They ask good questions, they cover interesting ground, you learn neat things about the guest and you end up caring about them and wanting to go watch all their work. During this stressful pandemic time, listening to an episode is like hanging out with friends, and I come away from each episode with my faith in humanity reaffirmed. Can't recommend it enough.Read full review »

I feel like I'm sitting around listening to friends catching up over brunch. It's nice to have a podcast that doesn't try to be anything else but...Read full review »
