Thank you chef for your command of the cast. I listen to quite a few chef podcasts and what I appreciate the most about you is how you stop to explain the context. You do it better than anyone else. This is a good thing. On tv, Chef Acheson comes across as a quirky, wry, laconic character and creative chef with southern flavors. Most of that comes through here as well, but with an added dose of intelligent conversation. Excellent listening.

Chef Acheson has a difficult time getting out of the way. If the purpose of the podcast is to introduce us to interesting people, it fails because the subject rarely gets a word in. I thought I’d like this show just based on how much I enjoyed Hugh Acheson on Top Chef and he exceeds expectations! Great sense of humor, enjoyable guests, nice balance of chatting and interviewing.
