I know it’s only two episodes in, but it’s always refreshing to hear really smart people talk about something as basic as food in such an honest, thoughtful way and how it has a deep meaning and history.

Really enjoyed the first episode. A great discussion of equals with wonderful insight. A few critics commented on the kitchen noises but I found it set the mood nicely and added some authenticity to the conversation.

Chef Acheson has a difficult time getting out of the way. If the purpose of the podcast is to introduce us to interesting people, it fails because the subject rarely gets a word in.
