Reverse propaganda
Just because the narrator talks in a calm, hypnotic cadence, doesn’t make this any less scaremongering than the medical advice and intervention it claims to be the alternative to. For example, suggesting that there is another acceptable thing to do than listening to your healthcare professional when meconium is in the water. Checking the condition of the fluid yourself. Absolute madness. My birth ‘experience’ is not more important than the safety of my child.

After a previous caesarean I’ve been strongly recommended a hospital birth. Kathryn has scared the crap out of me for hospital births! Thanks!

It is a good insight into positive thinking about birth, but it does talk too much about bad birthing which can cause the fear it is trying to reduce. It’s almost hospital bashing rather than creating a positive mind and embracing nature for a natural birth. Some good and some bad.
