Guilt Free Advice
I really like the title because when I started on my FIRE journey there was abundance of overly strict budget planning and advice. I tried to follow ‘the rules’ but when I often didn't meet unrealistic milestones I would beat myself about it. This is not healthy mindset to have especially on a journey that’ll take years. But, I continued reading more and monitoring my spending behavior through Mint and I was eventually able to identify trends, patterns and make long-term goals and adjustments over time. I also started to be kinder to myself through the journey and even stopped feeling guilty about treating myself from time to time. This podcast is where we all need to begin because personal finance is not a one size fits all and Sierra really does provide alternatives based on different habits, lifestyles, and mindsets. I'm glad that listeners find value in Sierra’s experiences because we all need personal finance guidance that is guilt free!Read full review »
