“This is the most fascinating, informative program on radio. Melvyn Bragg invites real experts to discuss anything at all, no matter how esoteric it may be, at a fearsome pace and in a very short time gets the experts to discuss all aspects of the subject.
As an engineer myself I particularly like programs with Melvyn quizzing scientists. I get the impression that he really wants to know more about scientific subjects.
When it comes to the arts, culture, philosophy l sometimes get the feeling that Melvyn is up there with the experts.
In any case his program is my favourite by far.”

“Really great history podcast on many diverse periods of history. My only qualm with this podcast I show often the interviewer on the Salem Witch Trials episodes interrupts his guests! He won’t let them get a complete sentence out, very frustrating”
