“Almighty God often uses Dr. Stanley to speak to me directly. Convicting me in the next area He wants to mature in my walk with Christ. My girlfriend is commenting more and more about how she sees God working in me and through me! I have a very process-oriented mind. I want to understand before doing. If adequate instruction is not provided, I've been known to do it my way. I believe God has told me to knock it off, stop leaning toward my own understanding, and get to know Him. Dr. Stanley preaches the application of Jesus's teaching straight out of the Bible and directly into my daily life. No rouge personal opinions. He is not a "sunshine cannon". However, I can't help but smile when he interrupts himself in mid-sentence to say, "...listen..." or "...now watch what happens...". Makes me laugh every time!
