Very cool concept to go deep on singular ingredients. Take a listen, you’ll learn something and get inspired.

As someone who loves and appreciates the artistry of food but isn’t particularly good at making it, I love this podcast for a lot of reasons. John & Andrea have a great way of weaving the conversation with the chef to speak about ingredients/concepts in a way I can understand. After listening...Read full review »

This podcast has me wanting to ‘stock’ up on these new products! So interesting to learn about how these critical stocks and sauces are made. Both chefs bring great insight yet are witty and easy to listen to. Great episode! 👍🏻

What a fun podcast. The hosts bring passion and interest to a wide variety of foods and ingredients from around the world. From the peculiar to the commonplace, they tell the stories of these ingredients in an engaging way with the best chefs and food purveyors in the world. What’s not to love?

This show is informative as well as entertaining. The hosts have great charisma, energy, and you can tell they know their stuff. Love hearing from some top-notch reputable chefs and learning about cool ingredients. My only complaint about is I can’t listen to it on an empty stomach.

Such an incredible podcast, and a great hosting team! Outside of the food industry it’s easy to be unaware of the impact great ingredients bring to a dish. The producers of product give life to these ingredients and to the hear how the chefs passions for why they love them, or how to use them is...Read full review »

I love being in the kitchen but there is so much I need to learn other than southern cooking! I love hearing about what chefs are using, various spices and learning about different foods! What a great idea for a podcast to inspire the home cook and other chefs!

I loved the Grana Padano episode. I’ve never heard of this cheese and now I want to get my hands on some. Three cheers to the “Queen of Cheese!”

Like many people, I enjoy good food and trying new things, but I don’t consider myself a foodie and I don’t delve into food history or background too often. After listening to the Grana Padano episode, I’ll have to change that. This podcast is insightful and informative in an easy to listen to...Read full review »

I’m now ready to try this cheese. I’ve never tried it. I’m an artisan sourdough baker and one of my big sellers are pizza bagels. I usually use grated Parmesan. I want to try it now and see how it compares.

The ONLY reason that this is not 5 stars, is because I wish it was longer! I can talk about food for hours, and I can listen and learn more about food for even longer. The chefs and their experiences, their passion and ingredients, I wish the podcast would go on for an hour +. But I guess...Read full review »

I really enjoyed this episode. I remember my parents first going to Ireland in the early 2000’s and how amazed they were by the palm trees as well, so that brought back a good memory as our Irish heritage was always a big deal to my dad and that was his first trip.
