I listened to the first story in the podcast and one thing that struck me was the celebration of the person’s ability to extend her fast for 40 hours as if that were a great thing. Talk about highly restricted eating - that, to me, is disordered eating. Our bodies - and brains - need fuel. Eating is not bad, it’s necessary. Extremes in either direction can be dangerous.”
