Great content, but is way too puffy
After hearing this podcast heavily promoted on other npr podcasts that i enjoy, i was expecting something quite high calibre. And to some degree, it does achieve this - production values are great and the stories are well researched. But unfortunately, the way these stories are told is frustrating, overemphasising build up, featuring repetition, heavy narration and just is unable to present the story concisely. I really got an impression that the stories featured shouldn't take an hour to tell, and would have to take breaks from listening because i got bored. Hopefully this improves in future episodes.Read full review »
