Sounds like a winner
I truly believe that his age of podcasts could lead us into a new era of awareness and hopefully acceptance of all the subtleties of being human. It's sort of the opposite of the Jerry Springer era of singling out our differences as if anything other than vanilla was called out as fodder for a freak show. Podcasts of this ilk, on the other hand, ask us think long and hard about how alike we all are. When we ponder our own foibles in the context of many of the characters we encounter in such a podcast as this, and juxtapose them against our often quirky lives, we consequently then have a new lens through which to look at those that are quite different, without the need to judge or condemn, simply from fear of the unknown.
