Sorry ladies. I’ve never heard so many words used in sentences, that make no sense or come to any meaning. Nonsense rambling.

As a freelance writer I can relate to so much of what is discussed in this podcast, but anyone would find these episodes useful! Anna and Tiffany manage to perfectly vocalise so many of the things I hate/love about todays’s work culture, and every episode is insightful, comforting, and entertaining.

Extremely relevant topics covered in an engaging and clever way.

Apparently one of the hosts likes to murder perfectly healthy dogs? Pretty yikes IMO

I got onto ‘Is This Working’ from listening to Creative Rebels. As someone who spends half the week freelance, and the other half with a company, Anna and Tiffany’s insights have helped me form better work habits and articulate my feelings to the company. The calm and openness they approach every...Read full review »

I’ve really enjoyed the show in lockdown as I, like many people, had to reimagine the way I currently work. It’s great to see thoughtful reflections, advice and information on topics like burnout, identity, flexibility, and most importantly being brave enough to take yourself and your work...Read full review »

This podcast addresses the challenging aspects of work life that I’ve found especially relevant to me as a freelancer in the creative space. It’s honest and doesn’t shy away from tackling topics that we often want to ignore. There’s no ego here (unlike so many other podcasts) which is really...Read full review »

About stuff we’re all feeling but maybe don’t articulate quite so well - love it!

I’ve listened to this brilliant podcast since it started. But it’s really come into its own for me during lockdown. I’m not a freelancer, but am now stuck working at home. All the topics have been so relevant and supportive. I listen in the morning with my first cuppa to boost me to get going!...Read full review »

I honestly don’t know how I would have coped without this podcast. My last year was strangely maximal. As a freelance translator, language teacher and phd candidate, I already had more than enough to juggle. But then when even more opportunities came along I couldn’t help but ‘yes yes yes’ed to...Read full review »

I love listening to this show- so much of what they discuss resonated when I was a full time employee, but having switched to become a freelancer in April I found listening to the hosts’ honesty about how the challenges faced by freelancers during lockdown, and the emotional impact of that so...Read full review »

As an introvert working in a large open plan office (pre pandemic) and at a stage where I’m thinking of that leap to freelancing, this podcast came at the right time for me. Thought provoking, honest discussions which have resonated with me. Thank you both!

An honest take on the modern working world - so topical, relevant and informative!

A lot of these topics are very relatable from my past employment. As I return back to after having extended leave I want to ensure I don’t make the same mistakes again but return with renewed confidence. These are definitely worth a listen to.

I decided to listen to the episode ‘Overcoming money shame with My Frugal Year’ and my mind is ever so slightly blown. I was drawn to listen to this due to the interview with Clare from My Frugal Year.
