“...why should it be? This is just a good chance to listen to Jake rattle things out of the top of his head. He is genial, amusing and interesting.
His friend Nigel is a frequent guest. He is a comedian who is not the least bit funny, but seems like a really cool guy who gets the best out of Jake.
Jake's wife is also a frequent guest. I am sure she is nice, but she always tries too hard to shoehorn in her groupthink superficial political opinions, which are little more than bumpersticker thinking.
