Not as good as his standup...but...
...why should it be? This is just a good chance to listen to Jake rattle things out of the top of his head. He is genial, amusing and interesting. His friend Nigel is a frequent guest. He is a comedian who is not the least bit funny, but seems like a really cool guy who gets the best out of Jake. Jake's wife is also a frequent guest. I am sure she is nice, but she always tries too hard to shoehorn in her groupthink superficial political opinions, which are little more than bumpersticker thinking. It comes across as unneccessary, and annoying. It is clear that Jake prefers to steer clear of politics, for the most part.Read full review »
