Brilliance, Charisma, Empathy
I find Joel charismatic, optomistic, and realistic. He doesn't go off on absurd tangents that have nothing to do with the topic at hand. Nor does he shove his ministry down one's throat: his teaching is gentle, organic, and human. I think that his strength, as an orator, is that he can demonstrate the intricate philosophies of life through the connection between humankind and God, not the connection between himself and God.
