Egomaniac apparently makes it to EBC
Apparently Ryan makes it to EBC! I didn’t make it past Ep5 so relying on the other reviews but what an accomplishment for me making it 4.5 episodes through! I’d rather jump off a cliff than continue listening to Ryan’s dribble. Ryan is everything to avoid when travelling - conceited, arrogant with a little splash of well meaning racism and sexism. This is Ryan’s story, told by Ryan about how Ryan did a hard thing and thought some thoughts, and learned that there’s lots of other people in the world and he talked to them, and used his manners. Ryan thinks he’s the first person to do these things. Ryan wants us to learn from him. Go away, Ryan! I hope Henke is ok.

Loving this podcast. Ryan has succeeded in making the listener feel like they are right there with him, experiencing the sights and sounds of Nepal, without being there. The trek is not one I will ever do in my life, so I love that I can live it vicariously through this podcast. Thank you.

I have an overly active mind and I need daily escapes to quiet down and recenter. This podcast was nothing short of...Read full review »
