I don’t know what I was expecting when I started listening but I can honestly say one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to. I’ve never had any desire to trek anywhere and now all I can think about is this journey and how amazing it would be to get even half way there! Also the last episode had...Read full review »

Apparently Ryan makes it to EBC! I didn’t make it past Ep5 so relying on the other reviews but what an accomplishment for me making it 4.5 episodes through! I’d rather jump off a cliff than continue listening to Ryan’s dribble. Ryan is everything to avoid when travelling - conceited, arrogant...Read full review »

I felt truly immersed in Ryan’s trek to Everest Base Camp. His description of the incredible landscape and his honesty about his physical and emotional state along the way made it compelling listening. I didn’t want it to end!

I went to base camp in 1986 and again in 1990. I would love to go back . Listening to your podcast just made memories flood back . Thank you . I’m enjoying it after stumbling over it 🌺🌸🙏

I really enjoyed this podcast I felt like it was easy to imagine it through your eyes. I never realised it was so hard to just get to base camp.

I 💯 loved this podcast! My husband and I have been planning to travel to Everest Base Camp for years now. I’ve trekked the Himalayas from Nepal and India and both treks were life changing. You’ve inspired us to get planning. Thank you 🙏🏻

Can’t say enough how much I love this podcast along with guilt as well. After countless days sitting on a digger after the floods in Hawke’s Bay, listening to these podcasts has made the months of sitting here fly by! You do an awesome job mate, love the content and can’t wait for more to come

I enjoyed this very much. I am always impressed with anyone who can take on a trek of this magnitude. A great listen.

A beautiful setting for my own Nepal trip. Great hike in mind. Thanks for the trip.

I’m with ‘WOW’ I never thought I’d be into a podcast like this - mountaineering, however after listening to Guilt I had to tune in. Can I just say, I absolutely LOVED this podcast. I was very sick with a virus and could just bury myself in the blankets, AirPods on and I was transported to another...Read full review »

Regardless of which story Ryan Wolf is sharing, he doesn’t simply take listeners on an informative journey, but rather he transports you beside him as he climbs another slope, stands on the edge of a Himalayan cliff gazing at the vista below; or scouting the paths and places where both the...Read full review »

I think most people who listen to podcasts, listen to them while doing something else, usually work. I’m a welder and I’ve been using noise cancelling buds with spatial audio to stay entertained while keep the shop noises down. This was the best piece of entertainment I’ve ever consumed through...Read full review »

Incredibly immersive with sound and audio description. Everything described was exactly as depicted when looking up the various locations. So addictive and lively to listen to.

It’s not surprising that your trekking partner suffered from altitude mountain sickness, considering how quickly you ascended. Recommendations are to go no more than 300 meters per day with a rest day every thousand meters. Also it’s recommended to spend three nights in Namche Bazaar. Most...Read full review »

Such a great cast! We’re planning on a similar adventure soon and every episode paints a beautiful picture. Thank you for such a great description of each step of your journey. Can’t wait for ours to begin!

Great podcast. Makes you feel like you are there, and also give you a realistic view of what people go through to get to EBC.

I started listening to this just as a fluke walking the dog early on a Monday morning. Spent my entire day with AirPods in, doing the chores listening. I could not stop. Not only is the story incredible and gives over to the sense of a purpose so much higher than one’s own daily life; but the...Read full review »

I LOVED this podcast. It feels like you are right alongside Ryan trekking up to base camp. Beautifully and sensitively narrated. So good that I binge-listened to the entire series in one day. Thank you Ryan.

And it’s fantastic! Without a doubt, the best of the year. Fascinating to follow Ryan’s journey to the base camp and to hear it in real time and in his own voice. I really felt like I was trekking with him. Congratulations on a great piece of work.

This is hands down one of the best audio productions I've ever listened to. So beautifully immersive and perfectly narrated, and the choice of sound tracks is sheer perfection. I have an overly active mind and I need daily escapes to quiet down and recenter. This podcast was nothing short of...Read full review »

I LOVE reading books about Everest and other climbing stories, but this takes it to another level. I feel like I am on the journey too, which is what I like about reading these adventures. Wow
Never thought I’d love listening to a podcast about climbing mountains. But after being hooked on Guilt, I had to have a listen and it’s worth it. Feels like I’m really there. Don’t miss this, or any other podcasts Ryan does. You’ll be hooked like me.

Loving this podcast. Ryan has succeeded in making the listener feel like they are right there with him, experiencing the sights and sounds of Nepal, without being there. The trek is not one I will ever do in my life, so I love that I can live it vicariously through this podcast. Thank you.

I honestly have absolutely no desire to climb Everest, but I truly LOVE hearing and reading the stories about those courageous enough to do it (though, I am definitely into the idea of visiting Nepal!). I am currently reading ‘Into Thin Air,’ so it’s fun to be able to experience the journey up...Read full review »

This should be a great podcast. The EBC is an amazing trek, and you’d expect that a first-hand account of the journey would be fascinating. Sadly, this podcast is so very badly written it makes it almost impossible to enjoy. Riddled with grammatical errors and lazy language, it’s surprising to...Read full review »

As someone who is training for that trek currently, I am so happy to have stumbled upon this podcast. It is one of the most engaging podcasts I have ever heard, and the storytelling and sensory detail is stellar. Can’t wait to hear more!

Loving this podcast. You definitely need to listen to it with you headphones on as you get the best experience. They way you speak of the walk and the surroundings really does give you a picture of what you are experiencing. Can’t wait for the next episodes.

The descriptive tales of this Everest Journey, allows me to follow my dreams from right here in my tiny dog grooming shop in the Florida panhandle. The sounds of the city and the people pull you in, as if you’re walking this journey with the narrator. Absolutely mesmerizing
