Disappointing
This should be a great podcast. The EBC is an amazing trek, and you’d expect that a first-hand account of the journey would be fascinating. Sadly, this podcast is so very badly written it makes it almost impossible to enjoy. Riddled with grammatical errors and lazy language, it’s surprising to learn that Ryan is a lawyer and former magazine editor. Add in some casual sexism and racism, and the repeated mispronunciation of ‘Namche’, and it’s a struggle to keep listening. If you are interested in the EBC, I’d strongly encourage you to seek out other podcasts or documentaries. You can safely give this one a miss.
