These three strike a balance many podcasts can only try to manage. Also they make me cackle while making dinner alone.

I’m a sucker for banter in podcasts, so this is right up my alley. Oh and they review movies as well.

Only compliant is I’m getting to the end and will have to become a Patreon to listen to the bonus episodes.

I don’t know, with this show looking at this overtly sexist material, it just seems like generic white men named Matt might be a better fit. Since they pretended to be James Bond as kids, and you can listen to their incredibly boring lives and their boring relationship that is entirely built...Read full review »

Still 5 stars because while I don’t agree with everything that the hosts say but its fine because I find it quite enjoyable and the podcast is exceptionally produced with relatively nuanced perspective. The hard hitting questions are answered, albeit somewhat poorly- such as the chimp with a...Read full review »

Cultural critique with a moral compass that makes me feel safe exploring masculinity together with them.

The first episode I tried was the one covering “Die Another Day,” and I had to turn it off after just 15 minutes when they said that Madonna’s theme song for the movie was bad. I can see critiquing it for being a bit “one-note” or not fitting with the sound of the other Bond songs, but to act...Read full review »

An incredible podcast that critically examines the misogyny and racism baked in to the bond canon. Also there’s some hauntology

Notice to the hosts. I listen to the podcast while creating science communication illustrations. However, the last podcast was too funny. Due to the physical effects of this oversight, I could not draw straight lines while listening to the podcast. Please desist from this level of inflatable...Read full review »

When I’m really thinking very critically about the hundreds of thousands(more? Love the show but wish the way these episodes listed weren’t retarded

Snarkily complaining about a film for 2 hours seems almost as fruitless as listening to it is.

I would subscribe to the Patreon if they weren’t so obnoxious about subscribing to the Patreon.

I’ve never had as much fun having my nostalgia for a film series that I’ve not watched since childhood ruined by listening to amazing people who also used to love it rip it to shreds!

Yikes. Advocates for a Woker and broker Bond. The “Comedy” is what you expect out of hack sitcom canned laughter. Nice to see they point out some of the absurdity in the bond franchise and especially the later movies, though camp has always been part of the series, but what makes this podcast...Read full review »

An excellent podcast that analyses the Bond series critically and with a genuinely enjoyable chemistry between the hosts. I recently found the show and have enjoyed each episode as I progress through the previous uploads. Great humour, nuggets of information and interesting viewpoints in every show.

A refreshing and comedic reappraisal of a staple of British popular culture, which is often treated with more then a little too much reverence.

As a young boy I spent many a holiday watching Bond marathons on TV. My father bought me a bootleg box set of ever Bond movie, and some of then even had the option to turn off the Chinese subtiles! Needless to say I have seen all of them multiple times even the Timothy Dalton ones. As I think...Read full review »

I started listening to this as a fan of Philosophy Tube, not knowing much about Bond as a cultural figure, but these guys are so hilarious I’m completely hooked. It’s amazing because they’re not simply saying “oh this film is bad let’s laugh”, they’re genuinely doing some film analysis as to what...Read full review »

Too much hating…. The cheesiness of flaws is part of the greatness of the movies. We don’t care about the special effects flaws or plot holes. For the time these were made this was trendsetting. 007 gave birth to the spy movies of today in my opinion. You guys are hating on the movies to make...Read full review »

I just finished the episode on Cars 2 and oh my oh my My mind is spinning and I’ll never watch another animated movie with the same innocent eyes again. Great program, great questions. Had a blast

Love the Bond films or hate them, this is a great podcast. Witty and clever hosts break down every Bond film in detail, pointing out many of the absurdities you probably missed. They are hilarious and brilliant, and their laughter is infectious. An instant favorite for me. Highly recommended.

A great podcast with great chemistry and a lot of fun. Being a Scott that loves Connery as he was the first Scottish person I saw that wasn’t groundskeeper Wullie, this is a difficult listen. I am, perhaps, not exactly the target demographic because I do not enjoy when podcast hosts “c**k the audience,” but clearly that resonates with lots of people. Subject matter is cool, feminism is cool, the concept of well-read trans people hosting podcasts is cool.

I grew up watching James Bond and even devoured the novels. I love Bond, even while being aware that it’s not the most politically correct entertainment.
