I started listening to this as a fan of Philosophy Tube, not knowing much about Bond as a cultural figure, but these guys are so hilarious I’m completely hooked. It’s amazing because they’re not simply saying “oh this film is bad let’s laugh”, they’re genuinely doing some film analysis as to what...Read full review »

Too much hating…. The cheesiness of flaws is part of the greatness of the movies. We don’t care about the special effects flaws or plot holes. For the time these were made this was trendsetting. 007 gave birth to the spy movies of today in my opinion. You guys are hating on the movies to make...Read full review »

Come to hear Philosophy Tube talk about James Bond, stay for the discussion about the intricacies of Car 9/11.

I just finished the episode on Cars 2 and oh my oh my My mind is spinning and I’ll never watch another animated movie with the same innocent eyes again. Great program, great questions. Had a blast

Love the Bond films or hate them, this is a great podcast. Witty and clever hosts break down every Bond film in detail, pointing out many of the absurdities you probably missed. They are hilarious and brilliant, and their laughter is infectious. An instant favorite for me. Highly recommended.

A great podcast with great chemistry and a lot of fun. Being a Scott that loves Connery as he was the first Scottish person I saw that wasn’t groundskeeper Wullie, this is a difficult listen. That and the fact a podcast of just (at least so far) “Can you believe how bad this is” isn’t my...Read full review »

I’m just here for when they have to watch Moonraker, a very realistic and believable film

Alice is a friggin crazy person and should not have a platform but the other two are not necessarily bad and the podcast has some good chat I guess

Probably the most entertaining way to consume James Bond films in 2021

I’ve never watched a James Bond movie in my entire life and now, thanks to this podcast, I’ll never have to.

Can’t wait until they get to that bond movie with the CBT scene.

I am, perhaps, not exactly the target demographic because I do not enjoy when podcast hosts “c**k the audience,” but clearly that resonates with lots of people. Subject matter is cool, feminism is cool, the concept of well-read trans people hosting podcasts is cool.

This has me and my fiancé dying with laughter every 2 weeks - I introduced him to it on a whim and now I’m not allowed to listen without him. It’s blisteringly funny, works regardless of your level of exposure to James Bond, and is chock full of Bond trivia.

A fun podcast that at times delves into the history of the films and how it ties into world that produced them.

I grew up watching James Bond and even devoured the novels. I love Bond, even while being aware that it’s not the most politically correct entertainment. This podcast is the Bond discussion I never knew I needed. Hilariously on point, picking out details I’d never noticed and many I had, trivia...Read full review »

Incredibly clever, funny and thought provoking reviews and analyses of the James Bond films. Without a doubt the highlight of my fortnight. Despite not being able to donate myself, I’m sure the bonus episodes from patreon are worth every penny

Never have I wanted to kill James Bond more! This podcast is a good laugh, I always look forward to it.

And I despise him so deeply that even a underwater jet streaming urine could not reach the deepest depths of my hatred.

Appreciate everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but It’s so easy to take the mickey out of something if you don’t understand it. Have you read the books? Bet not. Fiction based partly on reality. Bond is unique. Positive things about it, negative things too. But that is the beauty of it. I...Read full review »

Now watch carefully, 007. This may seem like an ordinary British podcast about how cool James Bond is, but upon pressing the play button, three very cool trans people pop out of the front

Enjoyable show on a subject I previously could not car less about. Never really cared for Bond movies, but the ladies on this pod gave me a reason to give them another go. Happy I did. Listening after watching each film is like a book club without having to pretend I read anything.

What if Spectre funded a podcast about James Bond? I really appreciate the work being done here. Finally someone giving us henchpeople the appreciation we deserve.

The anti-James Bond James Bond podcast that takes Bond films and subjects them to a hilarious picking apart and rates them on areas like cultural insensitivity and unprovoked violence. It works particularly well because you don’t even need to know the films well (I’ve seen most of the Bond films,...Read full review »

Love the balance of funny bits about how stupid Bond is and actual social commentary about how messed up these films are.

Fun
I didn’t think I could find a podcast about James Bond so hilarious but here I am. Easy to follow so if you’re not a bond fan (like me) you’ll still enjoy it and won’t get lost. Informative and a lot of fun - excited for more!

By the rest of us, I mean transgender communists who hate James Bond but do still watch James Bond movies, which admittedly is a narrow band of society but I am a member of it.

I’ve always loved Abi’s work but the first episode of this show alone has made me love her even more. And I’d never heard Alice or Devon’s work before so I’m excited to hear more of them, they’re delightful!

I was going to listen to episode 1 before writing a review, but it turns out that this is already a 5-star podcast. The moment they launched, Podbean was targeted by a DDoS attack, and as a result I couldn’t listen to the first episode. The crew behind this podcast has confirmed on Twitter that...Read full review »
