A very engaging dissection of Big Tech
This is a very well done look at our very complicated relationship with Amazon as both consumers and as Americans. It is an accessible and thoughtful look at the various issues that come with Amazon’s influence: privacy, automation, antitrust law, local investment, etc. as well as discussing their history, goals and evolution as a business. It avoids talking about them in ideological and abstract terms by staying focused on the human element, and doing a great job of incorporating the perspectives of those directly affected by Amazon’s decisions. It is a very socially relevant podcast that deserves to be listened to and discussed by anyone who cares about being an informed consumer, customer and all-around American about the place of Big Tech in American society, for better and for worse.

Great show, but you guys should have done something to stop it triggering Alexas... It’s driving me crazy. I shouldn’t have to mute Alexa around the house just to listen to a podcast!
