Kristin Stewart is a Calabasas bohemian and a Hot Topic punk. I felt compelled to tell you that my wife and I despise her. -Les Couchon- 💄🐷🍒👠

Seth Meyers assumes the mantle from the original Steven Colbert show, addressing daily news with levity and intellect. I also enjoy the “extras,” the backstage interviews with the show’s guests.

Conversation did not inform details of why Medicare is better than fixing ACA. Disappointing

I started listening to the podcast because I expected to hear Late Night. It’s a decent podcast but I’d like it better if it at least started with Seth’s opening from every show. He’s great with guests, but his openers are fantastic! Get me hooked with the openers and I’ll enjoy the rest of the...Read full review »

I tend to skip the podcasts that don’t have Seth. The staff does a great job, but it’s Seth’s humor and wit that draws me to the podcast.

Listen Seth, you just need to release just your full episodes, no one really cares about the staff interviews, we think that you are a wee more interesting.

I don’t know what else to say. Go DVR the show but don’t expect this to entertain. Sorry, Seth. Just release your “monologue” first 15 mins and I will CHANGE my review.

Really enjoy the bits from the show. Please cut the Interviews and such the staffmembers do. Ps: sorry for the Bad englisch, im from Germany

Love the Seth Meyers podcast for the Closer Look segment, episode always feels a little “eh” without them. The interview’s with guests and staff after show can be a nice continuation, but don’t enjoy staff talking to each other - feels like filler.

I listen to several podcasts of tv shows like Rachel Maddow and Bill Maher and this is the most puzzling. Whereas Maher has pod extras, this one has much less — only two eps a week, often with content a month old, stuff not on the show which can be interesting but is pretty random (interviews by...Read full review »

Highlights from the show’s best interviews, mixed with A Closer Look, Amber Ruffin, Jokes Seth Can’t Tell, plus additional Q&A’s backstage... it’s easily my favorite podcast.

The John Mulaney one made me chuckle a time or two. Then I listened to the Heidi Gardner one and it’s just Closer Look and his on air conversation with her. Nothing novel or behind the scenes, which is what I was hoping for. There may be good ones every now and again but it isn’t worth a...Read full review »

I wish the podcast included the opening monologue. I like the show and podcast. Seth calls out Trump for his obvious lies and uninformed opinions. It’s not leftist. It’s a reality check.

Seth’s monologue is so spot on regarding Trumps current lies, racist insults, uninformed blathering and the like, sometimes I can simply watch late night and be completely and accurately updated politically!! I L❤️VE this show!!!! 5 ⭐️’s two thumbs up 👍🏼 👍🏼

Seth Meyers and Trevor Noah deliver the most humorous and intelligent comedic look at current events. Hard to pick a favorite between A Closer Look and The Daily Show. Great writing and fantastic delivery!!!

How these talented people manage to come up with truthful, compassionate, relevant and funny perspectives about what is going on in the country and our world. It’s always nice to decompress and get a brief update on the major issues currently happening. I suspect y’all could make jail fun. Thanks...Read full review »

Thank you! Best podcast ever! Someone once said someplace: We used to watch the news for the news and the late night shows for entertainment. Now we watch the news for entertainment and we watch the late night shows for news! Your show does a great job at that. Thank you!

Thank you so much for making this podcast. I enjoy listening while doing housework. Seth reflects the way I feel but does it so that we laugh instead of cry in this sad time in our history. Please keep them coming!

Helps the politics go down. The news out a Washington would be overwhelming without Seth taking “A Closer Look” and making it all a bit easier to digest.

Mr. Meyers you and your writers are brilliant. I love jokes Seth can’t tell. A closer look is clever EVERY NIGHT. I think you have the BEST late night show...... sorry Colbert

Best political humor. Seth gives you the scoop in a smart clever way. Wish there was a Closer Look everyday with Trump as president there could be. Good work, Seth.

Really - Half of this show is a guy I’ve never heard of interviewing guests in the greenroom. Really - They do how many shows a week and they can’t just leave a microphone on and put it on a podcast? Really?

I look forward to hearing these segments each week. Seth is my favorite late night host and the Closer Look segments are a great contrast to follow up my NPR news podcasts. Same topic, funnier take. Love it and the guest segments.
