“I've been listening to DailyFrenchPod (DFP) since almost the beginning and I think it is still the best one out there for learning beginning to intermediate French, and as far as I know I've listened to all the French language podcasts on iTunes. (I've got to put a plug in here for Laetitia's 'One Thing in a French Day' here too, because she's absolutely wonderful, but she's at a much different level than DFP and has a completely different approach...) Louis and his crew are doing an excellent job. Louis has a great voice, his lessons are useful and interesting, and plus he seems to be just an overall nice guy. I've finally gotten past the beginner stage in French, but I still learn useful things pretty much every day from DFP. I've had a paid subscription for the last 9 months and I haven't regretted it. While a paid subscription is not absolutely required (all the audio lessons are free) it does help to have the pdf transcripts if you get stuck on something.
