“I would like to point out that this is not a traditional approach to meditation and can at times be narrow minded in the scope to which it applies the term 'meditation'. very simply mediation is making the mind familiar with and object. whether that is an anaylitical line of reasoning or fixation meditation. The idea that meditation only really begins when your 'not thinking' is an extremely archaic idea. As a beginner the best meditation to do is simply watch the breath, and the experts at mediation are normally buddhist, as the hindu tradtion focuses quite heavily on prana mixed with physical postures instead of a perhaps slower method where you try and change the very thought patterns of you mind through careful anaylsis of its nature. trust the experts who have hundreds of years of tried and tested methods and have produced results.”
