Really, really good
Let’s Get Real is the second best show on the Heritage Radio Network (sorry Erica, but Cooking Issues will always be my first love). Erica Wides' podcast cuts to the core of all the problems with modern food. She does indeed have opinions, but boy are they worth listening to. She manages to be funny, interesting, knowledgable and opinionated all at the same time. It's like listening to a food-oriented version of Woody Allen, but back in the days when he was still good - say, Annie Hall kind of era. Let's Get Real is so good, I actually back-tracked and started working my way through the archive. I went through the whole of Erica's first podcast, Why We Cook, and am now almost up to date with Let's Get Real too. Appropriately enough, I listen mainly whilst I'm pottering about in the kitchen each evening, getting dinner ready. It really is a great show, I wholeheartedly recommend it.Read full review »

I learned about Chef Erica on Garden Fork. I thought I would just try her podcast and have since become addicted. I have a long commute and enjoy listening to her episodes. I wish I lived in NYC, so that I could enroll in her classes. Her students are very blessed. Keep up the good work.
