“Good mythology review especially for those who haven’t brushed up since high school when forced to read all that stuff (but now realizing as an adult that it’d be helpful to be well-informed.) Host is funny and knowledgeable. I think the podcast would benefit from slightly deeper analysis; I like when Liv starts to analyze (such as in the Oedipus episode, mentioning the fallacy in his running away from his supposed parents) and would love to see even more insights like that, especially given her background in the subject.
Re: The couple of reviews saying the “political commentary” or “talk of the patriarchy” detracted from the podcast... How is it political commentary to comment upon how many of these myths feature rampant rape and murder of women? I feel bad for the women in your life... yikes.”
