Why I pay the $5.99 subscription
Why do people complain about $5.99 a month for a subscription? That’s less than a beer in a pub? The question isn’t why should I pay but why should I NOT pay a few bucks for the time, skill and knowledge of Andrew and producer etc to entertain, inform me? It’s not like free tv where you get 5 mins of ads every 13 minutes. Why expect everything for free? I’m not generally a fan of true crime but Andrew’s laidback style and in-depth knowledge sets him apart from others who just repackage the work of others (like Andrew’s work). Paying $5.99 a month feels like a fair good price for about 4 hours of content from Andrew and access to other podcasts (which I don’t bother with). If Andrew gets rich on $5.99 a month than good luck to him. I’m happy to buy him a beer.
